Ozonated PRP

PRP is plasma with many more platelets than what is typically found in blood. It contains hundreds of protein called growth factors which are very important in healing of injuries, rebuilding connective tissue, collagen and elastin. The concentration of platelets and thereby, the concentration of growth factors can be 5-10 times greater than usual.

CGF (concentrated growth factor), the third-generation platelet concentrate, contains more growth factors and has a harder fibrin structure than first-generation PRP and second-generation PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) Like magnet, the PRP/CGF cells attract other platelets and growth factors to the area. Their journey through all layers of the skin stimulates the healing process for damaged skin and triggers powerful tissue regeneration.

The reason that some injuries completely heal and others do not has to do with circulation. In order for a damaged area of the body to regenerate and heal, it must have the critical elements that only the blood can provide: Oxygen, Grows Factors and Vitamins.

Low levels of oxygen cause an accumulation of lactic acid, which is what causes pain, aging and reduction of healing process.

Ozone is an alternative version of oxygen and ‘activated’ form of oxygen where there are actually three atoms of oxygen attached together forming a molecule that is ‘O3’. Ozone is far more energetic an oxidative than oxygen.

Ozone is an important tool in medicine. It defends the body via stimulation of the immune system and at the same time it improves oxygenation and metabolism.

Ozone is an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral agent, improves wound healing, regenerate tissue, reduce pain and swelling.

When PRP/CGF is combine with Ozone, it activate, it boost and enhances the effectiveness of both treatment; less likely to experience post-injection pain and more likely to recover faster compare with receiving PRP treatment alone.

Benefits:

  • Tissue healing
  • Inflammation reduction
  • Hair growth
  • Prevent and reverse signs of aging, rejuvenate skin, giving a youthful, radiant appearance.

Procedure:

A small blood sample is taken from the person being treated put into a centrifuge to separates platelets from other blood components. The concentration of platelets is then mixed with ozone and injected into the area of the person’s body that needs to be treated.

Methods of Administration

  • Topical application
  • Local injections in affected areas

Ozonated PRP is usually performed once a month.
